Your outboard has oil seals all through out that sometimes need to be inspected and replaced. A failing oil seal can cause leaks, loss of pressure, and other problems. This seals is located within the oil pan area on the oil pump. This seal is a genuine OEM part manufactured by Yamaha Marine, not aftermarket.
