Yadkin County Courthouse 10" Plate, Lucille S. Piper Memory Plates. on the back of the plate it states... "Yadkin County was separated from its parent county of Surry by Legislative Acts of December-January, 1850-1851. The original old red brick courthouse, built in the early 1850's with a small addition constructed on the east end about 1905, stood about one hundred and four years until its demolition in 1957. The new courthouse occupies the same site. Lucille S. Piper Memory Plate Cincinnati, Ohio."
