Original 1964 Oakland, California telephone book or directory. It has both white and yellow sections. Total of 968 pages of information; names, addresses, telephone numbers, advertisements, government offices, etc. Valuable information for genealogy, relatives, and overall historical research. Book measures: 9“ x 11“ x 2 1/4“ thick. Condition is good to very good. Cover, especially front, has its share of wrinkles, writing on top front right corner, chip missing on bottom right corner and minor taping. Inside contents 90 to 95% fine. Some creased pages mostly at front bottom corners for about 18 pages; but all readable and not impacting interior address and name pages. Then, some turned corners on last 10 pages at end of book. Not bad at all for almost 60 years old.
