Vintage Beeman Blue Ribbon rifle Scope Made in Japan 3x-9x40 no. 82958

Vintage Blue Ribbon GLOSS rifle Scope Made in Japan 3x-9x40 no. 82958. This scope has a thin blue line on the front bell and the name Blue Ribbon on the eye piece side. Most Blue Ribbon scopes are associated with the name Beeman, but this scope does not have Beeman on it anywhere that I can see. Does have 3x-9x40 and no. 82950 also is Fully Coated, Nitrogen Filled, "Image Moving", Water Proof and underside JAPAN and a diamond with a L. The reticle is of thin design. This scope is in very nice condition for its age and does have some slightly noticeable scope ring marks and a slight rub/scratch marks and a couple of very small chips in a concentrated area on the top of the Bell. Area on the bottom of the bell is slightly hazy, Please see photos for best description. I believe this to be a rare scope as I have not ever seen one of these before. Scope will be carefully packaged in a scope box and then into another box to insure that it arrives in good condition.
