Description

This auction is an estate fresh refrigerator safety thermometer advertising piece from the Kansas Electric Power Company. Kansas Electric Power Company which was founded and located in Lawrence KS during 1922 and acquired by KP&L in 1943.
This is the visible printed text on the paper insert: "All year around refrigeration safeguards your family's health", "Danger point 50 degrees", "The Kansas Electric Power Company".
The glass is in excellent condition measuring roughly 4 1/2" tall, 2 5/8" diameter base, a 1 1/8" diameter tube, with a couple of minor scratches along the base, but the paper insert and original cork inserts are in remarkable condition for its age. It is rare to find this with the original cardboard base indicating made by T.H. ADV> CO., Terre Haute Ind.
This will make make a  great addition to any energy company or thermometer collection.
