Example:
if you have 2" pipes that are 10' long and you want to use a 2" wide wrap.....
Look at the chart, find your pipe size on the left (in this case 2" or 50mm {same thing} ) then follow the chart to the right under "2" wide wrap" you will see you need 44 inches or 3.83 feet
per linear foot of pipe
Take 44" or 3.66' and multiply by 10ft = 440 inches/36.6 feet then add 10% ..... So you need a 50 ft roll. Don't forget to add for bends
INSTALLATION:
Wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt to prevent itching/and irritation.
Wrap will smoke lightly after initial installation (just few minutes).
Starting at the flange end leave about ¼"- ½" for hardware.
Each wrap should overlap the previous layer by approximately ¼"- ½".
Turns and curves will have more of an overlap.
Try to keep the wrap as snug as possible as you go, continue to the end of the pipe.
Use a stainless steel tie at ends and junctions to hold wrap in place.
You're done!
